VIPdesk Awarded PCI Compliance Security Certification

VIPdesk Partners with Fortrex Technologies to Offer a Secure Environment in Virtual Contact Center Industry

Alexandria, Va. - January 31, 2007 - VIPdesk, the leading provider of premium home-based contact center solutions and Fortrex Technologies, a market leader in providing IT security, operational risk and compliance solutions, announced today that VIPdesk has been certified to meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) requirements.

The PCI DSS was created by major credit card companies to safeguard customer information. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and other credit card associations mandate that merchants and service providers meet and maintain stringent security standards when they process and transmit cardholder data. Today, PCI Compliance is the gold standard by which companies' data security is measured.

VIPdesk teamed with Fortrex Technologies, a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), to achieve PCI Compliance.
