"What many people may not realize about working from home is that I am no different than any other individual in a call-center. Connected nearly 100% of the time, I just happen to be sitting in the comfort of my home office. I find the same level of interaction with both customers and colleagues that may be found in an office environment."

Stacey W., Virtual Concierge
Being the mom of a 20-month old toddler, there is no such thing
as a typical day; this can also be said for my role as a Concierge
for VIPdesk for the past two years. This is why I truly love and
appreciate both roles - each adds a sense of pride to my life in
unique ways.
As a home-based team member, one of the best advantages of is
the lack of a commute and increased flexibility. As a part-time
evening Concierge, I am fortunate to enjoy a wealth of family time
with my son during the day, accomplishing those things that are
generally a struggle for typically 9-5ers, such as doctor's
appointments, household maintenance and social activities.
When the evening comes and my shift is about to begin, it's all
business. I have a wonderful husband & partner who assumes all
parenting duties from the beginning of my shift until our son goes
to sleep for the night.
What many people may not realize about working from home is that
I am no different than any other individual in a call-center.
Connected nearly 100% of the time, I just happen to be sitting in
the comfort of my home office. I find the same level of interaction
with both customers and colleagues that may be found in an office
environment. Particularly with colleagues, the depth of the
relationship is something developed over time and, just as in the
typical office, is up to the individual.
