Patty Abramson

Patty Abramson is a highly experienced executive and a founder and general partner of the Women’s Growth Capital Fund, a Washington, DC, based venture fund founded in 1999 to invest in women-led high growth businesses and WomenAngels.net, the 85-member angel investment club designed to help women investors capitalize on the explosive growth in entrepreneurial activity and venture financing. Prior to founding the Fund and WomenAngels, Patty spent 25 years in all aspects of marketing and advertising. She was a partner in the Washington-based public relations and marketing firm of Hager, Sharp & Abramson, whose clients included corporate, not-for-profit and government agencies. Patty is a member of the Board of Directors of Communispace, the manager of online communities for customer-focused companies, as well as numerous not-for-profit organizations.

Patty holds a BA from Elmira College and a MA from American University.
