Nancy Evans
Before co-founding iVillage in 1995, Nancy Evans was President and Publisher of Doubleday, Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of Book-of-the-Month Club, and the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Family Life magazine. She has written articles for dozens of publications, including the New York Times and the Harvard Business Review, and published three books. She has written monthly columns and been a contributing editor at Glamour, Redbook and Publishers Weekly. For three years, she was the co-Host of the national PBS show, "First Edition," and has appeared on numerous TV programs, including Charlie Rose, 60 Minutes, and The Today Show. Among her awards are the Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications, the Corporate Vision Award from Girls Inc., the Aiming High Award from the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund, the Gracie Award from the Foundation of Women in Radio and Television, and Esquire named her one of its "Women We Love."
