Abe Morris

Mr. Morris brings over 20 years of operating, strategic and financial experience to the VIPdesk Board. He is currently CFO of SystemsNet. Previously, he was the lead Shareholder Representative for Asprey & Garrard, a privately-held international luxury retail company based in England with over $500 million of invested capital. Mr. Morris was Acting Chief Operating Officer for The Leslie Rudd Investment Co., a privately-held holding company, where he provided management and oversight for numerous operating companies establishing company-wide objectives, financial targets and operating plans. Mr. Morris was SVP & CFO of Teligent, where he was involved in the company’s overall development, including the creation of its business plan and recruitment of key personnel. He was responsible for over $2 billion of capital raising activities including the company’s IPO. Before joining Teligent, Morris served as SVP at MFS, an early entrant in the competitive local service telecommunications market, which was acquired in 1996 for $12 billion. At MFS, Mr. Morris was involved in securing $3 billion of capital, including taking the company public. Morris also held several senior management positions in operations, business development, mergers and acquisitions, integration activities, investor relations, billing and revenue assurance activities. Between 1986 and 1991, Morris was involved in a wide-range of domestic and international corporate development activities for PKS, a diversified industrial services company engaged in construction, mining, telecommunications, energy and packaging and from 1984 to 1986, Morris was a corporate securities attorney at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld.

Mr. Morris received both a J.D. with High Honors from the National Law Center and a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Economics from The George Washington University.
